The key processes in arranging travel to China;

	When applying for a tourist visa you will need to include a travel itinerary and hotel confirmation
	Obtain a Visa Invitation to China (This is only required for Business visas)
	Arrange for the visa to be issued through the Chinese Embassy or Consulate

China Visa Application;

Application to the Chinese Embassy in London or Consulate in Manchester or Edinburgh can be made within 3 months of the travel date to China. Visas are normally processed within 3-4 days. The Chinese embassy no longer accepts postal applications. Application forms and a full list of requirements are available from the MyVisaAdviser website search facility and we will process the application on your behalf if you are not able to attend the embassy yourself.

Invitation for Business visas;

A Visa Invitation for Business visas must be requested a Chinese Government Department or government-authorised company. Invitations are available for Single, Double and Multiple entries.

Note: A multiple entry visa will only be issued to applicants who at least 2 previous Chinese visas in their passport.

Hong Kong;

British passport holders do not require a visa to visit Hong Kong but do need a visa for China.
