Greece passport holders

From 05 April nationals of Greece can travel to USA for business or tourist purposes for a stay of up to 90 days under the visa waiver program. Travelling visa free requires travellers to hold a biometric e-Passport with an electronic chip and must register for ESTA authorisation to travel https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/

Iran Embassy

with immediate effect all UK passportholders requiring a visa for Iran must apply in person as applicants are required to be fingerprinted.

New Schengen Visa Exemptions

With effect from 19th December the following visa exemptions apply when visiting the Schengen area:

FYROM Macedonia, Montenegro (Provided holding biometric passports).

Serbia, (Provided holding biometric passports issued by Coordination Directorate -Koordinaciona Uprava).
Holders of non biometric passports for Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia will still require a visa to travel.

Travel Authorisation for visiting the USA

The Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA) is now mandatory for travellers from countries which participate in the Visa Waiver Program, which includes the UK.
Travellers must visit https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov and enter personal details.
Applications must be submitted before you travel and the US Department of Homeland Security recommends doing so at least 72 hours before travel.
